We’ve a treat at the Lloyd Market this week. The chefs at the Doubletree Hotel will be conducting a cooking demonstration this week using berries from Unger Farms. Be sure to stop by and get a sample.
So what is coming to the market this week. Unger Farms and Greenville Farm will have blackberries, blueberries, raspberries and strawberries. Packer Orchards will have peaches, apricots, nectarines and cherries. Sulina of Sulina and Bay’s Farm will be bringing her usual great selection of lettuce, carrots, cabbage radishes, snow peas, zucchini and fresh herbs. Springwater Farm will have a variety of wild and cultivated mushrooms for sale. Fresh and Local, Little Pots and Pans, Rogue Creamery, Russell’s Bread, Serious Bread and Xiong Farmer are all back with flowers, cheeses, pitas, bagels, breads, sandwiches, salads and more.
