Market Update

August 18 2009 Market Preview

Corn has been plentiful the past few weeks and there should be plenty more this week too. Peaches, nectarines, and apricots should all be readily available. Blueberries, blackberries and strawberries should be available as well. Raspberries are done for now but there should be more in September. You should also find a nice selection of lettuces and other greens, beets, green beans, eggplants, daikon, carrots, cucumbers and other vegetables.

Greenville Farms and RedTree Farm are have both started new CSAs. RedTree Farm has a winter share CSA starting this fall. Greenville Farms will have a U-pick CSA starting in 2010.
