Several shoppers inquired about CSAs at the market. Two farms, Greenville Farms and RedTree Farm, are running CSAs this year. The program at Greenville Farms is unique. A U-Pick CSA, the member will have the opportunity to preserve freeze and preserve right on the farm (see link). RedTree Farm runs a more traditional CSA with box drops in the city.
There isn’t a CSA program with a pickup at the market right now. I really want to hear from you, our shoppers and supporters. Are you interested in a CSA pickup? Summer only or summer and winter? Please share your thoughts.
