The Lloyd Farmers Market is pleased to announce that it will continue running past March 16, 2010. The market will run will now run weekly every Tuesday from 10am – 2pm. With this schedule change, the Lloyd Farmers Market becomes the third year-round farmers market in Portland, following People’s Farmer’s Market and the Hillsdale Farmers’ Market.
“Listening to customers and vendors is one of the most important skills a market manager should have”, said Eamon Molloy, market manager. “Customers and vendors alike have been asking for a longer season. We planned to run through mid-March 2010 but the desire to run year-round was too strong to ignore. Ashforth Pacific has been a wonderful host and we are grateful for their strong support of local farmers.”
The Lloyd Farmers Market will also add a second day to its summer season. Beginning June, 2010 the market will run weekly on Tuesdays except for December 28, 2010. The market will also run on Thursdays from June 3, 2010 through September 30, 2010. The market time will remain the same, 10am – 2pm.
