Blueberries! They are a little late but they are here. Along with blueberries, raspberries, strawberries, and cherries will be available this Thursday. You should also find radishes, beets, carrots, fresh herbs, and (probably) lettuce.
Fressen Bakery will be back with a wide selection of German and Austrian breads, pretzels and pastries. Little Pots and Pans will be bringing more tarts, salads and Spring Pea w/Pistou (French Basil Pesto) Soup. The Hummus Stop will have several flavors of hummus, pita, pita chips, tabouli, artichoke salad and other savory items. Amaranth of Ammie’s Goodies will be back with a wide variety of gluten-free items. Amaranth is now making breads as well.
If the weather forecast is true, this will be a good weekend for a barbeque. Full of Life Farm will have a variety of beef cuts and chicken to choose from if you want to grill this weekend. They will be taking orders if you are interested in stocking your freezer. They are also taking turkey orders for Thanksgiving. (It may seem too soon but a few farms have already pre-sold all their birds.) Visit Full of Life Farm’s website (link) for more information or just talk to them at the market.
