It’s hard to believe that this Tuesday is the last day of August. Summer always seems too short and this year it really was. Summer crops came late but at least they did come in. Nature’s Choice should have more lobster and chanterelle mushrooms this week. The wild huckleberry crop was poor this year so there may or may not be huckleberries tomorrow. Check for an update in the morning. Unger Farms will have strawberries and blueberries. Greenville Farms will have corn, summer squash, green beans, cucumbers, romano beans and blueberries. Packer Orchards will have plenty of peaches, nectarines, apples and cherries and cookies. Rick Steffen Farm will have lots of peppers, okra, summer squashes, onions, fruit, tomatoes, corn and more. Radicle Pastures will have lettuce, cauliflower, fresh herbs and cucumbers.
Vendor news: Bigfoot Bread and THINK Unique Gardens are back this week. Fressen will be back at the market on September 7th.
