Late summer hangs on at the market as corn, green beans, and peppers are plentiful. Cool weather crops like winter squash, radishes. beets, spinach, and chard are available. Bill was able to harvest some wild chestnuts and rose hips. We have a new vendor, Meadow Harvest, with a great selection of dry-aged beef and lamb. Ammie’s Goodies is sampling gluten-free pumpkin pie (place your holiday order soon) while Olympic Provisions has a great selection of salamis. Savory et Sweet and The Hummus Stop have lunch options while Bigfoot Bread and Fressen have lots of baked goods. See you at the market!
