The wet weather has had its toll on spring crops. Berry growers have told me that the June berries will be at least two weeks late this year. Cherries will likely be late as well. The cloudy days have created problems for other crops as well.
Nature’s Wild Harvest and THINK Unique Gardens are off this week. Bill is running a workshop on mushrooms in Vancouver and Suzanne is moving plants out of the greenhouse and into the fields. Both will be back next week. Fressen Bakery comes back to the Lloyd Market this Tuesday, good news for all pretzel lovers.
