Today at the Lloyd Farmers Market

November 27, 2012

It’s a chilly outside so even though Thanksgiving is behind us, today, I’m thankful for a heated seating area and some hot soup from Savory et Sweet.  Oh and of course a nice hot cup of coffee from Intent Coffee Roasters.  Come down to the market today and warm up with all this and more.
This week, Nature’s Wild Harvest has even more dried and preserved favorites, like chestnuts, mushroom powders and nettle teas.  Naked Acres has jams, hot sauce, barbecue sauce and lots of greens.  Greenville has their usual array of fall vegetables, frozen berries, delicious cookies and cured meats!   And we have lots of healthy and delicious snack foods including hummus, cucumber salad, Masala Pop, apples and pears and more.
See you at the market!
Greenville Farms – fresh no-spray produce, hazelnuts, prunes, cookies, eggs
Kiyokawa Family Orchards – dozens of varieties of apples and pears
Nature’s Wild Harvest – fresh and dried mushrooms and other foraged goodies
Naked Acres Farm –sustainably grown produce, free range eggs, farm direct preserves & goat’s milk soaps

The Hummus Stop – hummus, baba gnanoush, pita and other Mediterranean snacks
