Today the Lloyd Farmers Market is bursting at the seams with farmers and other vendors! Naked Acres Farm is back in the market after a week’s absence, and Portland Creamery and Masala Pop are here as well. Sweet Leaf Farm’s booth seems to have traveled back in time from this summer, with tons of produce, strawberries, and summer squash (!), courtesy of the recent warm weather.
We’ve been getting questions lately about the Thursday summer farmers market, and the news is that we sadly had to discontinue the Thursday markets as of this season. The twice-weekly market had just come to take too much of a toll on the farmers and vendors that were coming twice a week during the busiest part of their season. The bright side of this decision is that we’re now able to put more work and focus into the weekly Tuesday market, and will be expanding the number of vendors and products available at the market this summer (starting in June we’ll be expanding outside the gazebo!).
Check below for a full list of vendors at the market and photos. Next week guitarist John Twist will be kicking off our monthly live music series, and will be playing at the market from 11 to 1. See you at the market!
