Today feels (fittingly) like the transition between summer and fall at the market. Probably the last peaches and grapes of the season at Kiyokawa and Unger, respectively, so be sure to grab some for that last taste! Strawberries, blueberries, plums and nectarines should stay around for another few weeks. Vegetable wise, there’s still crateloads of summer produce, from heirloom tomatoes to peppers to watermelons!
This is King’s Raven Winery’s last week in the market, so make sure to stop by and pick up one of their locally grown wines! Seed and Thistle Apothecary is also making their last appearance of the season; make sure to stop by and check out their medicinal wares if you haven’t already. ProFarm Produce’s season has come to an end; they will return in the spring with organic asparagus. Naked Acres Farm will return next Tuesday; Brandwein Meadows Lamb will be back on October 8th.
