Welcome to Fall!

Today is the first official day of fall, and the Lloyd Farmers Market is celebrating our favorite season! Fall fruit is abundant-Kiyokawa Family Orchards has 6 varieties of pears, 11 kinds of apples, and also plums and pears. Unger Farms has Albion strawberries, and lovely Red Flame table grapes. Today’s most exciting fall treat is APPLE CIDER! ProFarm has the season’s first pressing of sweet, spicy cider.

The rainy, cool weather means mushroom season is just around the corner, and this week Nature’s Wild Harvest has brought some beautiful maitake and shiitake mushrooms. Summer’s veggies are still here for you to enjoy as well. We’ve got sweet corn, tomatoes, peppers, and greens galore!
