Chestnuts roasting today at the Lloyd Farmers Market!

November 4, 2014

Today one of the great pleasures of the autumn season is here at the Lloyd Farmers Market – Bill from Nature’s Wild Harvest is roasting chestnuts for sale at the market! These wild-harvested treats are delicious as a snack or (Bill’s favorite) simmered in a pot of chicken soup. In other seasonal news, Naked Acres Farm’s 2014 preserves are finally here! Sauces, pickles, jams and much more are here starting today. Naked Acres also has fryer chickens today, in addition to pork.

Last week we thought would be Xiong Farm’s last week at the market with fresh cut flowers, but it turns out they are back for this week and next! See below for more photos and a full list of vendors here today. See you at the market!
