Some exciting stuff happening today at the Lloyd Farmers Market, but most importantly, the question on everyone’s minds is about strawberries! Unger Farms began their season at the market last week with Hood strawberries, and Greenville Farms has Hood strawberries as well. Today Portland Juice Company starts their season with cold-pressed fruit and vegetable juices. Next week we’ll be joined by Udan Farm and Gelato Maestro.
Also starting today, we will have live music at the market every other week, through the end of summer! Today we feature the guitar stylings of John Twist, on June 16th Eric John Kaiser and his Parisian-Americana fusion, and on June 30th country-folk duo The Welldiggers. Check our website at www.lloydfarmersmarket.com/music for our full music calendar.
Sweetheart Bake Shop is offering a special giveaway today – they’ll be giving free slices of their delicious cake to market customers this morning! This giveaway begins at 10am, and will probably not last long, so make sure and stop by early.
