Today at the Lloyd Farmers Market, summer produce is the star! Unger Farms has “all four berries” – blueberries, blackberries, raspberries and strawberries! Kiyokawa Family Orchards has peaches, Bing and Rainier cherries, and the rarely available sour pie cherries. Make sure and come early, as sometimes the pie cherries sell out quickly!
The cool summer weather has given us a surprising twist: Nature’s Wild Harvest has the first yellow chanterelles of the season! Normally they don’t show up until August or September.
