Roasted chestnuts and more today at the Lloyd Farmers Market!

October 10, 2016

Today we’ve gotten lucky on the weather – it’s a beautiful crisp fall day at the farmers market! Bill from Nature’s Wild Harvest is roasting the first chestnuts of the season here at the market today. Come and try this delicious autumn treat!

There’s still plenty of summer produce like corn, tomatoes, peppers, eggplant and more, so enjoy them while they last! Kiyokawa Family Orchards has 24 varieties of apples and pears today, including Honeycrisp, Ambrosia, and the popular Mountain Rose (pictured below).
