Celebrate Election Day! Vote with Your Fork the Lloyd Farmers Market

November 8, 2016

Energy is high and Election Day is finally here! Come calm your nerves under the sunshine and atop the crisp and crinkly fallen leaves here at the Lloyd Farmers Market.

A mid-morning pick me up with fresh roasted coffee from Intent Coffee Roasting and a decadent cookie or pie from SweetHeart Bake Shop is sure to shake off those electoral anxieties. If your stomach is grumbling a crepe made to order from Cafe de Crepe, or plate of soulful La Causa (the cause) from Kichana will put that to rest.

Brighten your day with a late fall bouquet from Moms Flower Farm, loaded with dahlias and sunflowers.

And make sure you get the seasons’ best mushrooms, winter squash, root vegetables, nutrient packed greens, and sweet to tart apples and pears from our dedicated farmers and foragers. Try the kiwi berries from Kiyokawa Family Orchards for a tropical treat on what feel like a tropical fall day.
