Today is a beautiful day at the Lloyd Farmers Market, and one where we can really feel the overlap between summer and autumn. The time where winter squash sits next to corn, and peaches next to pears. Remember, this means these next couple weeks may be the last for summer produce like berries, peaches, cucumbers, etc. If you’re planning to do any more summer preserving, now is the time to pick up that flat of berries!
Lloyd Farmers Market now has an Instagram account, @lloydfarmersmarket! Follow us there to see beautiful pictures from market day. To celebrate, we’re running a photo contest on Instagram throughout the month of September. Just tag your Lloyd Farmers Market photo with #LFMphotocontest to enter. The winning photographer will get $20 in farmers market tokens!
