It’s Tuesday at 10 am, and that means it’s time for the Lloyd Farmers Market! Thanks to everyone who came out last week in the snow to support our farmers.
We are definitely getting to the end of pear season: Kiyokawa Family Orchards has Red D’Anjou, Packham’s Triumph, and several varieties of Asian pear. On the apple front, Crimson Crisp and Fuji are still going strong, among others.
Greenville Farms continues to have tons of greens, rapini, potatoes, onions, herbs and more. Nature’s Wild Harvest has wild-harvested watercress and nettles, with the first morels just weeks away! Cafe de Crepe is back at the market after a couple of weeks away; today’s chef special is bacon with apricot cheese, caramelized onions and arugula.
See below for more photos and a full list of vendors at the market today. See you at the market!
