Eat the Heat: Peaches, Sweet Corn, Grapes, Tomatoes, live Spanish Guitar and more!

August 21, 2018

We are keeping cool under the gazebo at Oregon Square Park, and have a full market for you to enjoy. With summer at it’s true peak you can find every fruit and vegetable under the sun, and some you may have not expected until the rains (think first chanterelles at Nature’s Wild Harvest).

Organic Red Haven peaches are in and huge at Kiyokawa Family Orchards, so pick up a box and eat them with everything. Table grapes, looking like little sun droplets of love, are filling bags at Udan Farm and these treats are only around in the late summer.

It’s the last week (until next spring) for a couple of vendors, so visit Bliss Nut Butters and stock up on your favorite jars and get a last sausage from Urban German Grill. We have live music from guitarist Art Viloria until 1pm and the market is open until 2pm. See below for a full list of vendors.
