Snap Peas, Popping Corn & Spruce Tips at the Lloyd Farmers Market Today

The air is fresh with spring rain, but the sun is also peeking through the clouds. It’s time to snap up some sugar snap peas from Greenville Farms, and grab a beautiful head of romaine lettuce or stalks are ruby red rhubarb too.

No herb garden is complete with out fragrant and flavorful basil, and Senkos Farms has starts of Big Leaf green, vibrant purple, and sweet and spicy Thai varieties to keep your salads and meals seasoned all summer long. You’ll also find samples of red popping corn, so try a few puffed kernals and take home a bag for making your own healthy snacks.

Check out fresh harvested spruce tips at Nature’s Wild Harvest, their lemony punch can be enjoyed fresh, steeped to draw out the nutrients, or soaked to infuse oils and butter.
