Welcome Dirt Rich Farm!

Today at the Lloyd Farmers Market we are excited to welcome Dirt Rich Farm which was founded in 2015, growing a diverse mix of fruits and vegetables on a one acre plot in nearby Canby, Oregon.

One of their specialties is a year-round salad mix, currently including a blend of various lettuces, baby mizuna, baby kale and frisee endive. “It’s really special to have something so fresh and tasty throughout the year,” says Allison.

All of Dirt Rich Farm’s fruits and vegetables are grown without the use of synthetic fertilizers, herbicides or pesticides. They have chosen not to certify organic and instead, emphasize the importance of the trust that is built between farmers and the community. To them, a conversation is more valuable than a label. To this end, they publish their growing practices on their website.
