Thankfully, the smoke has cleared, and it’s a clear breezy market day today at the Lloyd Farmers Market! Stop by to get some fresh air and to get your shopping done. We’re seeing more signs that autumn is on its way, with more varieties of apples and pears at Kiyokawa Family Orchards, and the first winter squash (delicata, kabocha and more) at Greenville Farms. Of course summer produce like tomatoes, peaches and corn are still available in abundance too!
Today we welcome new vendor Healing Earth to the Lloyd Farmers Market, with mushroom hot chocolate and mushroom matcha! They’ll have powdered mixes as well as brewed available to go (remember to leave the market before drinking). Stop by to try!
In addition to her delicious whole grain crackers, today Robyn’s Craft Bakehouse has bread specials: a sourdough einkorn loaf and onion poppyseed buns.
Calling all photographers! This Tuesday kicks off our month-long photo contest! Just post your farmers market photo on Instagram with #LFMphotocontest to enter it. The winning photographer gets $20 in farmers market tokens!
We’re open today until 2pm, see you at the market!
