July 26 2011 Market Update
THINK Unique Gardens is out this week. Edgar at Fressen Bakery is making his annual trip back to Germany. He will be in Germany for about 5 weeks. Fressen will be back in the market in September. Bigfoot Bread is out on Tuesday but will be at the market on Thursday.
Here is Tuesday’s vendor rundown:
Greenville Farms – strawberries (maybe), raspberries, blueberries, prunes (fresh and dried), hazelnuts, eggs, and jams.
Nature’s Wild Harvest – fresh mushrooms (shiitake, maitake, oyster), porcini (maybe), morels, dried mushrooms, mushroom salt, honey, huckleberry jam.
Unger Farms: strawberries (Albion, Hood), raspberries (Cascade Dawn, Tulameen), blueberries, blackberries (Obsidian).
Bigfoot Bread – OUT BACK ON THURSDAY.
Olympic Provisions – frankfurters, charcuterie including Cacciatore, Chorizo Andalucia, Chorizo Navarre, Chorizo Rioja, Finocchiona, Loukanika, Nola, Salchichon, Saucisson Sec, Saucisson d’Alsace, Saucisson d’Arles, Sopressatta. July 5 2011 Market Update
I hope everyone had a nice July 4th holiday. Slowly but surely we are getting back to our normal harvest schedule. Packer Orchards should have cherries this Tuesday (hoorah!), Unger Farms will have strawberries and possibly raspberries, Greenville Farms will have strawberries and some rhubarb. Little Gnome Farm is probably another week away from attending the market. This week’s weather forecast, if correct, will speed things up for Paul.
